On Tuesday 15 September, Watchkeepers spotted a local fishing vessel which can got into difficulty off the coast of Pakefield after it lost engine power due to a stuck trawl line. The boat was then pushed onto the sandbanks, which is when our Watchkeepers on duty raised the alarm with HM Coastguard, who tasked Lowestoft Lifeboat.
