Pakefield
Coastwatch

Helping to create a safe beach for visitors, locals and mariners.

Where are we?

We are located on the clifftop by the sea shore of Pakefield holiday park, Pakefield, viewable from the beautiful beach front at Pakefield.

What do we do?

We assist the HM Coastguard in ensuring the safety of people near or in the surrounding sea & also monitoring shipping lanes and pleasure craft.

Entirely run by volunteers

Pakefield Coastwatch is entirely volunteer-led, so donations are very important for us.

The lighthouse has been standing since 1831 and has provided life-saving services for nearly 200 years, bathed in rich history, this iconic lighthouse has been kept up to date with modern technology and dedicated volunteers.
